Watlow's Series PD high-performance temperature and process controller features ethernet/IP communications. This makes it easier to integrate machine and process control applications that include Allen Bradley programmable logic controllers, says the company. The Modbus TCP protocol is also included and offers another communications option. Embedded firmware serves web pages for setup, monitoring and trending, giving engineers and technicians complete access to the controller's parameters using a standard web browser.
