A-B-C Packaging's M49 automatically feeds cases, unloads containers and discharges them in bulk for conveyor transport to an automatic orienter or unscrambler. The machine eliminates the need for case erecting machinery, replaces the manual labor required to dump totes or bulk containers into an unscrambler and reduces floor space requirements, says the company. It runs a range of case sizes from 9-in. long by 8-in. wide by 5-in. high to 26-in. long by 15-in. wide by 13-in. high and unloads many different container styles. Offering variable-speed operation to suit changing production line speeds, it is built with a heavy-channel steel frame and offers motor-powered side belts for reliable case transfer.
