Bryon Klemens has been named the leader of the Hershey Co.'s treasury and investor relations. Rosa Stroh has been promoted to vice president, treasurer. Andrew Panayiotou has been made vice president, innovation and strategy, snacks for the company.

Hero AG and Madison Dearborn Partners, Inc., have signed an agreement for Hero to acquire Milnot Holding Corp. and its subsidiary Beech-Nut Nutrition Corp. Hero is a global branded consumer goods company headquartered in Lenzburg, Switzerland.

At Hormel Foods, Jeffrey Ettinger was elected the company's ninth chief executive officer. Other advancements were also announced. Ronald Fielding became group vice president of the grocery products business unit. Larry Vorpahl was promoted to group vice president of Hormel Foods and president of consumer product sales. Michael Tolbert was named Hormel Foods vice president. Jody Feragen advanced to the position of vice president of finance and treasurer. D. Scott Aakre was promoted to vice president of marketing, grocery products.

Karen Alber joins H.J. Heinz Co. as vice president and chief information officer. She was most recently employed at PepsiCo, where she served as vice president, change readiness-enterprise systems.

Dr. Wigberto Nunez was appointed as processing equipment specialist at Koch Equipment.

Alberto Ibarguen was elected to the PepsiCo board of directors.

Lora DeVuono has been named group vice president, brand marketing and advertising at Frito-Lay. Jaya Kumar was promoted to group vice president of insights, innovation and shopper marketing for the company.

J&J Snack Foods appointed Don McComas as national director of product development. Formerly, he was the national director of product development for J&J subsidiary, Country Home Bakers.

Susan Bond, a 17-year veteran of the Food and Drug Administration, joined the International Food Information Council as a senior vice president.
