The KROHNE OPTIQUAD-M 4050 W spectroscopic analysis system is used for the inline measurement of protein, fat and lactose in milk products. Typical applications include the increase of protein content in the cheesemaking milk/vat milk, standardization of fat content in drinking milk and setting a constant ratio of fat to protein in cheese production. The OPTIQUAD-WW 4050 W system provides continuous inline measurement of chemical oxygen demand in dairy wastewater, using up to 4 optical principles and up to 12 wavelengths.
