They join a growing list of retailers who will not sell the product if it is approved.

Major grocery retailers including Target, Giant Eagle, H-E-B and Meijer joined the Campaign for Genetically Engineered-Free Seafood in pledging not to sell GE salmon even if it is approved by FDA. A total of 59 retailers, including Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s and Aldi, have agreed not to sell GE salmon. FDA is currently undertaking its final review of GE salmon.
