Inventure to buy Fresh Frozen Foods for $38 million

Inventure Foods, Inc. announced it will purchase frozen vegetable processor Fresh Frozen Foods LLC for $38 million. Inventure is based in Pheonix, AZ and sells under brands including Willamette Valley Fruit Co., T.G.I. Fridays and Vidalia Brands. The acquisition will expand its geographic reach while adding frozen vegetables to the company's portfolio. Fresh Frozen Foods, based in Jefferson, GA, reported revenue of more than $60 million during its most recent 12-month period.
