Coca Cola eyes the at home soda market

Coca Cola announced a new partnership with Green Mountain Coffee, maker of the Keurig at-home single-serve coffee system. Coke plans to produce single-serve plastic pods of its product for use with the forthcoming Keurig Cold system, set to be released in late 2014 or 2015. Coca Cola is paying $1.25 billion for a 10 percent stake in Green Mountain Coffee, and it will be involved in marketing the new product. The move will bring Coca Cola and Green Mountain Coffee into competition with Israel-based SodaStream.
