The Schmersal RSS16 RFID-based electronic safety sensor is applied in safety circuits of hinged, sliding or removable safety guards. It features LED status indicators and an integrated dual monitoring microprocessor. The sensor can be connected in a series with up to 31 other electronic safety sensors and locking switches.
