The Linde dry ingredient chilling system uses liquid carbon dioxide to cryogenically pre-chill ingredients while they are pneumatically conveyed to the mixer. A feedback system monitors the ingredients’ temperature and controls the injection of carbon dioxide to produce a temperature within 1°F.
