Optical detection system

Engineered for frozen fruit and vegetable processors, the SORTEX PolarVision FM detection system combines 2 dedicated food material detection technologies. The SORTEX PolarCam FM camera processes different products or mixes, detecting non-vegetable material, such as dark foreign materials, black plastic, stones, snails and insects. The high-definition InGaAsHD technology recognizes smaller pieces of hazardous material. The system is suitable for a range of products from single items, such as peas or raspberries, to more complex vegetable mixes that may contain seafood or spices.
