Based on a non-contact optical technology, the GPR online system measures the thickness of plastic bottle and container walls at desired locations and displays the results instantly on a trend chart. Installed on an existing conveyor downstream of a blow molding machine, the system can be set to automatically alert operators and reject containers that exceed specified limits.
