Addressing hygienic requirements, the Sidel EvoFILL Can filler features a “no-base” design, CO2 pre-flushing system and fully cleanable handling parts with reduced top surfaces. Available with a single- or double-can infeed, it operates at speeds of over 130,000 cans per hr. Enabled by servomotors, the drive system requires no mechanical transmission between the filler and the seamer. A valve centering bell design eliminates the need for changeovers of all possible can-end types in the beverage industry from 200 to 209; carousel adjustment is fully automatic.
