EarthShell Corporation and DuPont have expanded their relationship from the joint development agreement formed last year to a strategic alliance. By combining EarthShell’s patented composite material technology with DuPont’s expertise in materials development, manufacturing and marketing, the companies will be able to offer environmentally-friendly packaging and systems to the food service industry.
Schreiber Foods, Inc. has acquired the Deep South Products, Inc. plant located in Gainesville, GA. The purchase includes an 11.64-acre land along with a 93,000-square-foot production and warehouse facility. The acquisition will enable Schreiber Foods to reach market segments in the southeastern U.S. and in the Caribbean.
The Atlantic Baking Group, Inc. announced two pending acquisitions. ABG has signed an agreement to acquire the Bake-Line Products private-label business from Kellog Company. ABG has also agreed to acquire four baking facilities from Consolidated Biscuit Company (CBC).

Stuart Moss has been appointed Vice President, Sales and Marketing of Impaxx Machine Systems. He is responsible for generating top line revenue growth by implementing product, program, channel and promotional strategies.
Real Time Solutions appointed Tom Williams to the position of Director of Strategic Business Development. His primary responsibility is to manage alliance and consultant partnerships and spearhead sales efforts for the company’s AEs Outbound Productivity Suite (OPS) product.
Nilfisk-Advance America promoted Paul R. Miller from his position as Director of Operations to Vice President. In his new position, Miller will oversee sales, marketing and all of the company’s operations. He will also continue to represent the North American region in the Global Vacuum Operating Committee of parent company Nilfisk A/S and provide input on specific product and market initiatives.
NSF International announced the promotion of Robert Herman and Richard Andrew to the positions of Laboratory Manager and Technical Manager respectively for the Drinking Water Treatment Units (DWTU) Program. Most recently, Herman was the Technical Manager for the DWTU Program, while Andrew was a Program Representative for the same unit.
