Filler/depositors are available for materials ranging from liquids to heavy pastes, and for weights from ounces to gallons. The high-speed, compact, accurate units are fully compatible with existing conveyor systems. Shown here is a model that fills jars with peanut butter and jelly swirled together. Product is deposited through a specially designed nozzle while two belts spin the jar. The jars are held in place by the timing screw, which also positions the jars under the nozzles. Throughput is about 80 jars per minute, and can be much higher with less viscous materials.
