The Merlin weigh belt system combines accurate in-line weighing with integration into process control systems. It measures yield, density, average weight, blending products together along with batch weighing, etc. It incorporates a feedback control to the feeder and adjusts product flow to meet the line demands. Accurate weight measurement is achieved by the even, consistent product flow from the feeder and the design and location of the weighing unit. The controller can calculate the product in flight from the weigh platform to the discharge point, assuring accurate batch weight.
