Construction has been completed on a new 170,000-sq. ft. distribution center for Alliant Foodservice, Inc. The new Houston facility will accommodate rapid growth in the Texas market and southwest region. The new low temperature and dry distribution facility includes freezers, coolers, product racking, refrigerated docks, a battery charging area, dry warehouse space, office and employee welfare areas.

Alliant Foodservice, Inc. is one of the nation's largest broadline foodservice distributors, operating a coast-to-coast network of 45 distribution centers and food processing facilities.

Services provided by Jacksonville, Fla.-based Stellar Group included architecture, site planning, engineering, construction and refrigeration. Stellar has also completed various design/build projects for Alliant Foodservice in Georgia, Kansas, Arizona, Michigan, California and Oklahoma.
