The Matrix Crossweb package labeler from Koch is designed to meet or exceed AMI Sanitary Design Criteria. It can be installed on most form/fill/seal rollstock machines. The unit offers an easy-access design and angled and rounded surfaces to promote water runoff. Available initially for top and/or bottom package labeling applications, prototype and pre-production versions of the unit have been used in production environments for over a year. Film labeler versions are now in pre-production operation and should be available this spring.
