With flow rates up to 500 gpm and tip speeds up to 18,000 fpm, the MegaShear Inline High Shear Mixer can disintegrate large particles and droplets in a single pass, according to its manufacturer, Charles Ross and Son. The company says the mixer provides nearly 100 percent particle/ droplet disintegration on the first pass and produces uniform particle/droplet size distribution.
