Paratherm Corporation offers a web-based service for engineers and designers who work with thermal fluid systems. ParaCalc(tm) Online helps calculate critical data on paratherm fluids as well as water and other known liquids. It is available at www.paratherm.com. The software’s module 1 provides physical property data versus temperature and includes density, specific gravity, specific heat, thermal conductivity, viscosity and vapor pressure. Module 2 covers a custom table which reports pressure drops, flow velocity, heat transfer coefficient and Reynolds number across a customized range of flow rates.
