K-TEK offers the MT2000, a guided wave radar level transmitter that measures the level of bulk solids and liquids under harsh conditions with an accuracy of +/- 0.20 inches (5.1).
The MT2000 overcomes false echoes and complicated set-up normally associated with conventional non-radar level transmitters. Its metallic probe acts as a wave guide to direct microwave pulses, eliminating beam divergence common to non-contact transmitters. The unit is suitable for industries that require measuring the contents of tanks, silos, hoppers, bins, mixing basins and sumps.
