Krytox FG, a new line of perfluorinated oils and greases from DuPont Performance Lubricants, was recently approved by NSF for H-1 food processing applications. The lubricants are designed to meet extreme operating temperatures in food plants, while improving bearing and conveyor chain life.
Krytox can perform at operating temperatures up to 399ºC for continuous use. It is insoluble in water and will resist water washout.
