Omron says its ZFV 2D vision sensor brings higher sensing speeds, greater efficiency and lower operating costs to sensing and vision applications. Speeds of 4, 6 or 12 ms can be selected. Intelligent lighting optimizes image quality, while the ability to adjust focus maximizes measurement accuracy. Images are transmitted digitally from the sensor head to an amplifier and between amplifiers for clearer images. The sensor head offers a sensing view of 5 to 50 mm. Single-function or standard multi-function amplifiers are available.
