The Alfa Laval Solid C Series of centrifugal pumps are used in standard sanitary applications. The design offers an improved seal, lower NPSHr and better performance for standard duties in the beverage, food and dairy industries. Intended for use in non-critical, less demanding applications, all product-wetted parts are AISI 316L stainless steel. Units exceed hygiene standards and comply with 3A and CE, says the company. The pumps provide an inlet pressure of 50 psi, capacity of 400 gpm and a working temperature range of up to 250°F.
