Flush-bottom Fluid Flow sanitary ball valves eliminate dead space by being welded flush with the bottom of a vessel, says Fluid Transfer, the manufacturer. These valves come in sizes of 1-1⁄2 in. to 4 in. The ball revolves within the totally encapsulating seals, meeting sanitary standards, says the company. They are made of 316 stainless steel, are USDA approved and meet 3-A specifications.
