Focus on Palletizing Equipment and Extrusion: Specialty mixer
Used to improve dispersion prior to milling, the PreMax from Charles Ross & Son contains a specially designed rotor/stator that creates high flow and shear rates. In some cases the mixer eliminates the need for a media mill. In all cases, the mixer reduces the number of passes required to obtain high-quality dispersions by up to 50% of what is normally required, says the company. It is available in a range of sizes up to 200 hp.
