CoolPoint vortex shedding flowmeters from Universal Flow Monitors have stainless steel bodies for food manufacturing and processing. Offered in 316SS construction for corrosion resistance in measuring and monitoring chill water flow, peeling water and wash water flow, they can be equipped with Kalrez perfluoroelastomer seals for added reliability in processing low-viscosity corrosive fluids and water with chemicals added. They are available in two pipe sizes: 1⁄4 in., which provides a maximum flow rate of four gallons per minute and 1⁄2 in. with a maximum flow rate of 12 GPM.
