Rhinoveyor flexible screw conveyors for abrasive materials are simply designed without bearings, says Spiroflow, the manufacturer. The conveying tube is effectively one long support while the conveyed product acts as the lubricant centralizing the rotating spiral within the tube. The maximum throughput for the Rhinoveyor line can be as high as 5 tons per hour.
