The Moyno sanitary pump is available in a CIP design for quick and easy cleaning. The suction housing is equipped with an additional sanitary connection to accept flow bypass piping and valves. During CIP operation, cleaning solution passes through the pump, washing the internal parts clean, while excess liquid is routed through the flow bypass line and back into the piping downstream of the pump. The low-shear, non-pulsating flow enables the pumps to transport shear-sensitive materials with a minimum of turbulence or stress, says the company. They offer flow rates to 325 gpm and pressures to 500 psi. The self-priming pumps handle solids up to 1-in. diameter.
