Festo’s CPX-FEC embedded controller integrates a Festo front-end controller (PLC) into a modular CPX electrical terminal.  The modular unit direct mounts to the machine and provides IP 65/IP 67 protection. It has an Ethernet capability of 10 to 100 mbps data transfer rate and email, OPC and Web server capability for remote diagnostics and visualization. The controller can also be utilized in conjunction with a Fieldbus node as a preprocessor.
