Intended for cutting and dumping numerous paper bags into a bag dump station, IEDCO’s semi-automatic bag cutter and discharger has a self-contained pneumatic-driven bag cutter assembly with dual safety enclosures for protection from knife blades. A hands-free control system and safety interlocks prevent knife operation unless both the operator’s hands are clear. A bag-fold device assists in the discharging of bags. All the system’s contact surfaces are made of 304 or 316 stainless steel; all surfaces are #4 finish.
