High-shear mixer
Incorporating a rotor/stator configuration that promotes dual flow, Ross’s PM model high-shear mixer is intended for use in agglomerate reduction and the production of fine food emulsions and condiments. The mixer can eliminate the need for a media mill used to finish a product in a single pass and reduces milling time by up to 50% when multiple media passes are required. Cycle times of 15 to 30 minutes are typical. Models are available from 5 to 200 hp.
