Suitable for shredding agglomerates and lumps after storage, drying processes or for recycling returned products, Gericke’s Nibbler shredding system can be used to shred large and thick filter cakes for further processing. The system consists of a rotor with strips screwed to it and a screening plate with openings 1 to 25mm in size; the rotor rotates at approximately 80rpm. The system can be adjusted to the size of the filter cake and its properties.
