For application, a first coat is applied directly to a freshly prepared, damp floor; a co-plastimer additive allows the coating to penetrate porous concrete or wood and permanently bond to the substrate. After the application of a second coat, the surface can be modified with decorative flakes or high-gloss topcoats. The system has an anti-slip additive making it safe to walk on even when the floor is wet.
