Fully compliant with food industry IFS and HACCP requirements, S+S’s metal detection equipment ranges from simple, permanent magnet machines for removing ferrous material to electronic tunnel/pipeline metal detectors and high-tech X-ray inspection systems. Microprocessor-based data processing control units are self-monitoring and self-balancing. Product compensation data sets may be stored in password-protected, non-volatile memory built into the control unit. A range of faulty production ejection systems is available, including swivel arm, pusher and air blast, which may be combined with a secure, inter-locked reject container. Many units are fitted with a stainless steel conveyor unit to minimize effects on scanning sensitivity and stability.
