Moyno’s CIP sanitary pump meets sanitary requirements and has a clean-in-place design for easy cleaning. It features standard mechanical seals; clamp-style, DIN and ACME thread connections are available. The suction housing has an additional sanitary connection to accept flow bypass piping and valves. During CIP operation, cleaning solution passes through the pump to wash the internal parts while excess liquid is routed through the flow bypass line and back into the piping downstream of the pump. Its low-shear, non-pulsating flow allows transportation of shear-sensitive materials with a minimum of turbulence or stress. The pump provides flow rates to 325gpm and pressures to 500psi, and handles solids up to 1 in. in diameter.
