Designed to remove free, emulsified and dissolved water from a variety of industrial and mobile lubrication and hydraulic systems, Pentair’s Driflex oil conditioning system decreases water concentration and improves particulate filtration effectiveness to optimize oil condition and minimize equipment wear. Oil is pumped from its reservoir through a high-efficiency particle filter that cleans the oil which then flows through the dehydration contactor while extremely dry air sweeps over the outside. The moisture differential within the contactor causes the moisture to be transferred from the oil to the air and exhausted out of the system as moisturized air. No wastewater or other disposables are generated, and the oil returns to the reservoir. The system has no moving parts or flow/level controls to adjust. Compact in size, it is suitable for periodic use on reservoirs throughout an entire facility.
