Designed for delicate food products that are easily damaged during handling, Ishida’s Gentle Slope multihead weigher has product hoppers with a laid-back angle to eliminate harsh drops. Double-opening, dual-angle hopper doors and angled lips on the radial feeder pans maintain a gentle descent of product through the weigher. The weigher features pulse width modulation; an  anti-floor vibration system; a high-speed, 5-stage digital filter; and a combination calculation algorithm using field programmable gate array technology. A ring shutter in the discharge chute is optional to briefly stop product before it enters the discharge timing hopper.
