Designed for the detection of the solid salt layer in a brine generation system, UWT’s Nivobob 3300 electromechanical plumb bob level device has separate housing compartments for the process and electrical side to eliminate fouling of the electronics due to conditions inside the tank. The device includes a coated, stainless-steel cable, an aluminum NEMA-rated housing with a coated interior, rubber-coated pulleys and all-stainless steel bearings. Variable-density weight and field-adjustable sensitivity settings allow users to modify the density of the weight and cable and prevents the weight from sinking into the soft interface layer at the point where liquid meets solid.
