The live-drum spiral conveyor is designed with a cylindrical drum that assists in driving the unit’s modular plastic belt. Regardless of conveyor length, the rotating stainless-steel drum imparts the driving force to the inside edge of the belt, imparting low tension on the belt. It can be configured with various infeed and discharge locations, and it can be engineered to lower or elevate products.
