Combining a Norwood/Allen printer with integration from Code-in-Motion, the Norwood/Allen MPS-integrated, off-line, reel-to-reel label printing system prints serialized, variable and/or batch data to pre-printed or blank labels. It integrates either a continuous motion or intermittent motion thermal transfer printer or hot stamp printer with controlled data processing. When equipped with optional vision inspection, the system can perform optical character recognition and verification to confirm each character is correct and not smudged, distorted or broken. With its optional vision inspection and traceability software, the system complies with track-and-trace and electronic pedigree serialization initiatives.
