Used for packing fragile products such as bags of chips, other snacks and flexible packages, complex pack patterns and/or high-speed picking, the BPA delta-style case packer features a virtually hands-free changeover between different products and case sizes. Product is collated into a group using a BPA servo-driven, automatic variable pitch conveyor, and is then picked by an end-effector using a BPA 3- or 4-axis robot. Cases are tipped toward the cassette; the entire stack is side-loaded into the secondary container for a vertical (stand up) presentation. The unit packs small bags at a rate of 130+bpm.
