The International Society of Automation (ISA) announced its four Operational Excellence tracks that will take place at ISA Automation Week 2012: Technology and Solutions Event. The annual conference is scheduled for September 24-27, 2012 at the Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse in Orlando, FL.
The four tracks are: “Control Performance,” “Asset Performance,” “Human Performance” and “Safety and Environmental Performance.” Each track is designed to demonstrate how the effective application of industrial automation can drive significant business value.
The Control Performance track covers the range of state-of-the-art measurement and control functionality as applied to plant floor operation and business processes to help industrial companies realize their operational goals and business objectives. The Asset Performance track is focused on a range of state-of-the-art asset performance functionality, including measuring, empowering, improving, engineering and operating industrial assets for optimal performance results. The Human Performance track offers topics focused on the technologies and approaches in which industrial automation helps improve performance over a range of personnel functions (operations, maintenance, engineering, supervision and management) across industrial operations. The Safety and Environmental Performance track offers approaches and technologies that ensure safe, environmentally sound operations and demonstrates how holistic measurement and control of safety (the environment) and profitability can lead to new levels of operational and business performance.
