Featuring acetal conveyor belts directly geared to the drive drum, GEA Refrigeration Technologies direct-drive GEA A-Tec and GEA E-Tec spiral freezers and coolers are designed for sensitive food such as deep-fried, breaded and sugar-glazed products. The running conveyor runs flat without tension variations, so during cooling or freezing the food remains in place on the conveyor belt; no deformations can occur because of a change in position. The low-tension freezers and coolers offer outputs up to 7 tons/hr., depending on the product being processed.
