Bosch Packaging Technology announced plans to acquire German manufacturer Ampack Amman. Ampack Amman specializes in the production of filling and packaging machines developed specifically for the low-germ and aseptic processing of pre-formed cups and bottles.

Rockwell Automation, Inc. has agreed to purchase the assets of the medium-voltage drives business of Harbin Jiuzhou Electric Co. Ltd. The purchase price is RMB 530 million (approximately $83 million U.S. dollars). Closing is expected in October.
