The Fitzpatrick Company’s B Series FitzMill Comminutor line has a fixed chamber attached to the mill base. Access to the screen and rotor is accomplished by opening a door. The mill chamber remains fastened to the base during cleaning; the internal components such as the mill screen and rotor are removable. The mono-block chamber design features smooth internal surfaces and a large chamber door opening for easy sanitation of the mill housing. For products with dust explosion potential, nitrogen inerting is available. An alternative 10-bar, pressure-shock-resistant design is available for processing materials with the potential to explode.
