The summer’s drought made it harder for cattlemen to meet tough clean air standards. Now, a cattlemen’s group is asking the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) not to make it even harder. The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) says it opposes any attempt to lower the coarse particulate matter (PM) National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS).
