Capable of case erecting at speeds over 30 cases/min., the A-B-C Model 330HS case erector utilizes a liftoff case feed with a self-adjusting indexing mechanism that runs warped or band-marked cases. Dual gripper mechanisms work in unison to hold cases securely as they are opened. Cases are squared during transfer by the walking beam case drive; the sealing ram incorporates squaring devices that straighten each case as it is sealed. The intelligent control package includes closed loop position feedback through non-contact sensors for precise timing of each operating sequence. The operator station has a full-color display that shows real-time operating data and allows independent operation of all functions, diagnostics and changeover settings.
