The Nanotech NOE2 optical encoder for closed loop applications achieves a resolution up to 4,000 CPR, leading to a mechanical resolution down to 0.225° using quadratic evaluation. The commutation angle in field-oriented controlled operation can be measured with accuracy for synchronization even at low speeds. Measuring 31mm x 37mm x 11.5mm, the 3-channel encoder comes with a line driver. It is available in a 5V standard version and a 24V variation.
