Designed to reduce the threat of product contamination for food processors, Rochling metal and X-ray detectable plastics are FDA and USDA approved for food contact. Polystone M (UHMW-PE) and Sustarin C (acetal) offer the corrosion and chemical resistance of plastics while adding fragment detection capabilities down to 2mm. Available in stock rods and sheets, the materials can be machined into kettle scraper blades, timing screws, portion/volumetric fillers, forming trays, and chain guides and star wheels for conveyor systems. Custom machining is available.
