European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) called for the renewal of membership for its panel on food additives and nutrient sources added to food (ANS) and its panel on food contact materials, enzymes, flavorings and processing aids (CEF). Independent scientific experts from leading universities, research institutions and food safety authorities comprise the panels’ membership. Members are appointed based on a proven history of scientific excellence via an open selection process.
Applicants should have experience in safety assessment of chemical substances; toxicology; toxicity testing; chemistry; exposure assessment; human nutrition; food enzymes including from genetically-modified micro-organisms; and food technology.
